It’s vacation season. Vacations are fantastic (and necessary) because they refresh our perspective—giving us fresh eyes. 

Fresh eyes and a clear mind allow us to conjure a hi-def picture of the future we’d like to see, and to contrast it against the present—to see what’s working, and what isn’t.

Fresh eyes give us the ability to see how to get where we’d like to go. 

Vacations are especially important for business owners and managers, because owners and managers are responsible for strategy and inspiration, which includes aligning goals, shaping the work environment, and matching people to tasks.

Fresh eyes give us the ability to empower people to do their best work. 

Periodic vacations—even small ones—are a good investment because they return supercharged abilities.

Fresh eyes give us the ability to love what we do.
